Welcome to The Ganges Restaurant, a hidden gem in the heart of Tavistock, located at 9 West St, Tavistock PL19 8AD, United Kingdom. As a food reviewer with a penchant for unique dining experiences, I found myself enchanted by the vibrant flavors and heartfelt service that this establishment has to offer.

“ Wow.! We have just had our first takeaway from here and it was delicious. The chicken rogan josh was full of big chunks of chicken. Juicy and cooked to perfection. The veg tikka was literally the best I have ever tasted. We had the pilau rice with poppadoms. I also had a peshwari naan. Again, the nicest I've had so far. Complimentary yoghurt riata and onion and tomato. Customer service is Fab. Our usual takeaway was closed. However this will now be our go to for food. I honestly can't recommend it enough. ”
“ My boyfriend and I have just driven down to Devon and have never been in this area. Usually I’m not a huge fan of Indian, but it was 10:30pm and options were slimming. We walked in here and were welcomed by smiles, the place was empty so we chose our seats and experienced a very good service and some of the best Indian food we have eaten. We had the butter chicken and prawn masala. Just fantastic. Seriously though, the waiter couldn’t have been more perfect with his service. I travel all over the world and go to such a variety of restaurants and experience so much, I was a chef in the past and a food taster for a huge concierge company. I am fussy, it takes a lot to impress me, so very well done guys. We will be back!!! Thank you. ”
